In 2014, the business mogul created a roleplaying game app with Glu Mobile, “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood” where users are given the chance to climb the ladder of fame and become an A-list celebrity of their choosing. Within a few days of its release, the game grossed about $1.6 million with both positive and negative reviews.

However, just like most good things eventually come to an end, Kim will be shutting down the business this year 2024. Moves have already been taken to that effect as the app has been taken down from both Apple Store and Google Play Store.

Users who already have the app downloaded and installed on their devices have been notified that it’ll be permanently shut down on April 8, 2024. They were also notified that they are no longer entitled to in-app purchases.

I want to thank the Glu team and the many people behind the scenes who have worked diligently on making it a success. I will be forever inspired by this community that we built together.”
