The Kardashians: Kylie And Kendall Jenner Speaks On Tristan Thompson’s Sly Behavior

During the premiere episode of The Kardashians Season 2, on Sept. 22, the focus was on Khloe Kardashian’s second baby whom she had with her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson via surrogate. The final episode of the first season of the reality Tv show teased the shock on the faces of the Kardashian family when they found out that Tristan had a baby with another woman despite pushing Khloe to have a second baby with him.

Khloe and Tristan’s on and off relationship dates far back to 2016, the couple share a daughter True Thompson, 4, and a two-month-old son whose name is yet to be revealed. Before the birth of the son, it came to light in December 2021 that Tristan had an affair with his personal trainer Maralee Nichols, got Maralee pregnant and she gave birth to a male child Theo. When the news of Tristan’s infidelity broke, Tristan acknowledged having an affair with Maralee, but the painful thing is, Tristan knew about Maralee’s pregnancy yet he hid it from Khloe.

Khloe found out about Tristan’s affair the same time the world found out, a scene showed Kim trying to warn Khloe to not go through with the surrogacy since Tristan had another affair and will father the child from that affair. According to Khloe in the new episode, the surrogate got their embryo days before Thanksgiving, a week later, the news of Tristan’s paternity scandal was all over the internet. “We did an embryo transfer days before Thanksgiving, I found out about Tristan’s situation the first week of December, and it’s just so close, I wouldn’t want anyone to think I did this after the fact.”

Khloe also revealed that Tristan was very much aware that Maralee was having his child yet he kept encouraging Khloe to have the second child at a particular date, Tristan wanted the surrogate to be pregnant before the infidelity news leaked. “All I know is I was being encouraged to do it by a certain date, in hindsight, he always knew when the other baby was being born — especially getting the paperwork that we saw, he found out July 2, so he did know.”

In the family meeting they had concerning Khloe’s situation and how they would all show Khloe immense support during the time, Kylie Jenner said, “I just don’t like the fact that Tristan knew that this was happening,” to which Kendall replied, “That’s what’s wild. Like, you were encouraging Khloé to go forward with this while you knew that this was also happening? It’s almost like he wanted to trap her.” In Kylie’s confessional, she said that Tristan’s behavior was something she would never forgive, “I’m just really disappointed in Tristan. I think it’s really f–ked up that he knew he had another baby on the way with somebody else, which makes me uncomfortable to put someone in that position, especially when there’s a child involved.”

The Kardashians — Why Khloe Kept The Surrogacy Secret

Khloe explained in her confessional that after Tristan’s paternity scandal came to light, she had to keep the surrogacy secret because people would judge her for knowing of Tristan’s affair, and yet chose to have a second baby with him. “Why would I have a baby with someone that’s having a baby with someone else?” asked Khloe, “I’m not that much of a sociopath. I’m a lunatic but not, like, that deranged.”

“I wanted to keep this private for my loved ones as long as possible and not have this be some media frenzy that people get to just play with and run with, I can’t hear about this for months about what an idiot I am, what a dumb bitch I am, all these things from everybody else.” Khloe also admitted to keeping her family in the dark, no one in her family knew that she had already done the embryo transplant with the surrogate before the bombshell.
