Hulu Hypes ‘The Kardashians’ Poster, Gets Backlash
Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim Kardashian hope fans will keep up with the famous family by watching Hulu’s “The Kardashians.” And the streaming service keeps hyping the new series with previews flooding social media. But now Hulu has tried a different approach by creating a poster.
However, fans immediately slammed the Kardashian family’s looks in the poster, pointed out the Sun. For instance, Kourtney got bashed for looking as if her head doesn’t match her body! And Khloe seemed to sport claws, say some fans. As a result, many felt that the poster showed too much Photoshop.
Khloe and Kourtney faced the most slams. But fans didn’t ignore the rest of the family! For example, some mocked mom/manager Kris Jenner. And those trolls thought Kris resembled several paper dolls glued together by a child.
Kardashian – Family Fans Fuss Over ‘The Kardashians’ Poster!
In the Reddit KUWTK community, fans fussed over details in the Hulu poster. And one fan agreed with the criticism about Khloe and Kourtney while trolling Kim Kardashian. “But also Kim’s is like a different shade and it hurts my brain,” wailed the fan.
And others focused on Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim’s choice of makeup and fashion selections. For instance, one pleaded, “I realllly wish they’d stop over lining their lips so much. I hate it!” And another chimed in, “Me too!! With such a passion!”
But many slams focused on the dull color selection. “I just don’t like the beige,” complained one fan. “What happened that so many people became afraid of color so quickly.” And another added, “Agree, I would love to see them in vibrant pinks and purples and reds! Maybe some print?”
However, some critics did a deep dive into the artwork. “It also bugs me a little that they’re grouped up in twos of wearing the same shade,” pointed out the follower. “But they aren’t arranged in the photo so that the colors are spread out evenly. I would also love if they had more fun with color in their makeup too.”
