Kardashian critics have slammed Kourtney Kardashian for her new Instagram post. And the reality TV star sparked a backlash after she hyped her supplement brand, Lemme, at a popular store.
Find out why Kourtney’s followers accuse her of lying. And keep reading to learn how Kardashian boasted about her “pinch me dream come true” moment.
Kourtney Kardashian Sparks Backlash
Instagram has become Kourtney Kardashian‘s favorite place to promote her successes. And in particular, the reality TV star loves to flaunt her latest wins with her supplement brand Lemme. But her newest post on social media sparked a backlash, noted the Sun.
And it began when Kourtney decided to show off her Lemme brand partnership with Target. The 44-year-old reality TV star posed in a fur coat and chic sunglasses. And she toted some Lemme bottles, showing off the Target display for her brand.
But although Kardashian toted a Target store basket as she strutted in high heels, her ending moment exiting the store with a Target bag didn’t convince her Instagram followers.
However, Kourtney shared in her social media post that a partnership with Target represented “our vision board for what I wanted for this little company before we ever launched. Such a pinch-me-dream come true moment.”
Kourtney Kardashian Causes ‘Cringe’ Reaction
But in response, Kardashian’s followers expressed doubt that she really shops at Target. For instance, one critic mocked, “Girl, don’t act like you go to Target.” And another noted, “Kourtney’s worth 65 million. I don’t think so. You don’t shop at Target.”
But credit goes to the commentator who summed up the response as “Cringe.” And the critic slammed, “Like Kourtney would ever set foot in a Target willingly.” Others observed that Kardashian took her glam makeup team and photographers on her seemingly fake shopping expedition to make sure she looked perfect.
And one wrote, “People would only care if I shopped at Target if I had a photographer and makeup team. It’s the classic ‘I’m in Target right now’ pose. You are out of touch. Please figure out a marketing concept for once.”
Kourtney Kardashian Targets Women
However, for those who want to know more, Target has begun selling Kourtney’s Lemme products at $30 per bottle. And they target women. For instance, options include Lemme Purr, a probiotic for women, and Lemme DeBloat, which help with tummy trouble. Fans can try out Lemme Glow for hair, skin and nail growth. And Kourtney designed Lemme Chill gummies to ease stress and food cravings.
Kardashian filed a trademark for her supplement and vitamin brand in February 2022. And the products became available that same year. However, in addition to her career success, Kourtney has focused on the newest member of the family. She and her husband, Travis Barker, 48, welcomed their first child as a couple in November 2023. And Kardashian has spent most of her time with her baby, Rocky Thirteen.
Thus far, Kourtney and Travis want to keep Rocky private. And for those who want to visit the baby, Kardashian requires an invitation. In addition to her new baby, Kourtney co-parents three children with her ex Scott Disick. And Mason, 14, Reign, 9, and Penelope, 11, now can enjoy the expanded family.
