Disick has faced new challenges since Kourtney found happiness by marrying Travis Barker. But in contrast, Scott seemed unmotivated, aiming for a playboy lifestyle. And some hoped that Disick’s car crash would serve as a wakeup call. But insiders talked with Hollywood Life to explain the reality behind the speculation. For instance, Kourtney made time to check with the father of her three children.

Kourtney Kardashian Hopes Scott Disick Car Crash Offers Wakeup Call

Because Scott didn’t suffer serious injuries, he walked back home after the accident. But don’t worry that Disick spent the rest of the day alone in pain. Kourtney and her children headed over to Scott’s house when they learned the news.

“They’ve all been over to Scott’s to check on him, and see if he needs anything, etc,” said one source. But Kourtney also faced a secret worry. What if one of the children had accompanied Scott in that car and gotten badly injured?

“Kourtney can’t imagine if one of the kids were in the car with him,” noted an insider. “As a result, she’s very shaken up about the whole thing.” And she isn’t alone. Others in the Keeping Up With The Kardashians clan feel “very concerned.” And they seem to share one hope, that this car crash becomes a wake-up call. “He has to be more careful,”  summed up one insider.

Kris Jenner Gives Advice To Scott Disick

Given that Disick often spends time with Mason, 12, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 7, that car crash easily could have resulted in injury for one or more of Scott’s and Kourtney’s kids. But insiders seem hopeful that Disick will understand what could have happened. And they also hope that Scott will take measures to protect his childen. 

“Scott is very shaken up by the accident and his family and friends were extremely worried. They are so glad to hear that alcohol was not a factor because Scott has been doing so great staying away from booze. [The whole KarJenner family] loves Scott and they care about him very much,” noted one insider. And Kris Jenner gave Scott advice. She suggested he stop driving and use a driver. But overall, the family agrees he is “so lucky to just walk away and so grateful that he did not hurt anyone else.”
