At age 10, Scott Disick’s and Kourtney Kardashian’s daughter Penelope has become a makeup pro. And so Penelope decided to strut her skills on TikTok. However, Kourtney faced an immediate backlash, noted the Daily Mail. 

And horrified viewers slammed Kardashian as vain for encouraging a 10-year-old to post her cosmetics talents on TikTok. Penelope’s makeup tutorial showed the 10-year-old skillfully using concealer and blending it in. And the little girl then applied eye shadow, mascara, and lip gloss. But Penelope’s talents didn’t come into the backlash. And instead, fans united around bashing Kourtney. 

For instance, one critic accused Kardashian of encouraging her daughter to wear makeup at too early in her young life. But the commentator noted that Penelope had grown up “in a house full of vain women.” And some shared that they felt girls should not even consider wearing makeup until they become 16. Eventually, the backlash got so overwhelming that Kourtney deleted Penelope’s makeup tutorial from TikTok.

Kardashian – Sisters’ Beauty Obsession Impacts Their Daughters!

However, some slammed all the Kardashian sisters for their obsession with looking perfect. For instance, Kim Kardashian has gotten slammed over daughter North, with some claiming Kim exploits her 9-year-old to boost her own fame. And others worry that Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney all stress about their weight, which could impact their daughters’ own body image. 

But some questioned why Penelope spent so much time perfecting her makeup skills. For instance, one asked, “Do these kids ever study?” And others fretted that a 10-year-old should spend her time playing outside with her friends rather than studying cosmetics. However, overall, they all united in slamming Kourtney as a bad mom! 

And a few did praise the little girl. For example, one viewer who chose to defend Penelope shared, “Penelope Disick looking more put together at age 10 then I will ever be my entire life. Slay queen I guess!” However, Penelope does seem to share the TikTok account with her mother. Although she stars on the platform, the label shows “Kourtney and Penelope,” revealing that Kardashian participated and encouraged her daughter’s makeup tutorial upload.
