‘The Kardashians’ – Reality TV Show Not Based In Reality? Oh Horrors!
Fans who stay busy keeping up with the Kardashians have enjoyed watching and re-watching Hulu’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWTK) spin-off, The Kardashians. But some fans didn’t particularly enjoy one element of the final episode for the first season. As a result of certain clues, viewers slammed Kris Jenner, Kourtney, and Kim Kardashian for staging a key scene, noted Page Six.
That scene followed Khloe Kardashian’s on-again, off-again boyfriend and baby daddy Tristan Thompson getting caught in yet another paternity scandal. And as shown on Hulu, the episode supposedly took place within 24 hours after the family discovered the scandal. As a result, Kris, her boyfriend Corey Gamble, Kourtney and Kim agree to meet with Khloe to discuss it. However, Khloe never shows up.
But fans spied clues that the supposedly real-time episode got staged, scripted, and faked! And the first clue concerns Kourtney’s style. Viewers noted that the oldest Kardashian daughter wore the same hairstyle, outfit, and manicure as in a paparazzi pic in January 2022.
‘The Kardashians’ – Fans Expose Staged Episode: Three Clues
Fans noticed that the timeline shown in the episode didn’t match the paparazzi pics. “The family meeting was filmed January 31st based on Kourtney’s outfit,” pointed out one fan in giving away the first clue to the staged scene. “Khloe found out end of November/beginning of December when the documents leaked.”
But the second clue indicated that the episode actually didn’t reveal the true story. Because Khloe attended Christmas with her family, the implication that she avoided the family meeting didn’t ring true. “And she did attend Christmas with the fam, so the meeting was staged,” summed up a sharp-eyed viewer.
However, a third clue involved the entire family. And that consisted of looking at the emotions about the paternity scandal. No one seemed particularly troubled. As a result, fans suspect that lack of emotions resulted from staging the allegedly scripted scene.
“Explains why they were so emotionless about it all,” shared one viewer. “I wish they had stuck to a real timeline rather than jumble it around to have a good final episode.” Add in Kim Kardashian dropping in a supposedly scripted mention of the KUWTK clan’s Christmas card, and fans agreed on one sentiment. “Do better, Hulu!” they challenged.
