Kylie Jenner recently increased her publicity for her makeup products. And she knew exactly who to call for help: Mom and manager Kris Jenner. As a result, the two teamed up. But their decision to show how to make martinis to help hype the makeup got turned into a viral TikTok joke, noted Cosmo.

Stars of The Kardashians on Hulu, Kris and Kylie know how to smile in front of the cameras. But the viral joke about their collaborative video came in the contents. It all began when the mom and daughter decided to use martinis to celebrate the Kris Collection at Kylie Cosmetics. And the two pranced around looking sophisticated as they observed their cocktail preparation.

However, Kylie then asked Kris to explain her martini technique. And as fans watched, the Jenner matriarch announced that putting ice in the shaker with vodka consisted of step one. Step two? Shake, not stir. And then? Viewers of the video rushed to mock the fact that the ingredient list consisted of 100 percent vodka!

But one sweet moment did occur when Kylie tried her shaker technique and dropped the lid on the floor. And to reassure her daughter, Kris told her to just fake it as if she meant to drop the lid. Fans adored that feedback, calling Kris a queen and calling the act-as-if advice the mom/manager’s key to success!

However, to be fair, Kylie seemed completely ignorant about cocktails. For instance, the youngest Keeping Up With The Kardashians clan star looked truly curious. And she asked her mom Kris very seriously, “What’s your technique? Tell us what’s happening.”

But Kylie’s efforts to narrate the video got ignored as Kris solemnly shared her martini secrets. “Ice in the shaker, Belvedere vodka, shaken and not stirred,” announced the Jenner/Kardashian mom and manager. And some fans thought perhaps the video ended too soon. Could Kris truly mean that a martini consists only of vodka?

For example, one viewer wanted to check with Kris. “Do you honestly put nothing else in your martinis?” questioned the fan. (For the record, it appears that the reality TV queen didn’t get time to respond. Probably too busy making martinis.) 

Other fans noted that the famous mother believed she had kindly passed on a legendary recipe to her daughter. For instance, one viewer of the video pointed out that Kris thought her secret consisted of using an entire bottle of vodka. But others seemed envious.

“My dear that is straight vodka with olives,” pointed out one thirsty viewer of the TikTok video. “I want one.” And some wanted to make sure Kris got the recipe across. “So just vodka,” shared one fan. And another documented, “Two shots of vodka vibes.”
