Kylie Jenner Gets Criticized For Copying Timothee Chalamet’s Hairstyle

Kylie Jenner recently debuted a light pink hair color on her Instagram on Tuesday, with the caption, “Hiiiii remember me,” and as expected, lots of tongues wagged concerning it.

Of course, the picture received a thousand words but most Kardashian fans share this mindset that Kylie is trying to copy her boyfriend Timothee Chalamet’s SNL look.

In November 2023, The “Dune” star reprised his fan-favorite Saturday Night Live character, SmokeCheddaDaAssGetta which consists of a pink wig and a one-sided cheek tattoo. It would have been easier for fans to conclude that Kylie wants to twin with her boo, hence her new hair color but, no, she was rather accused of copying her actor boyfriend.

A TikToker made a video showing Kylie’s almost caramel hair color and asked, “Do you know who this mutha f**cka looks like low key?” Then proceeded to show a still phone of the “Wonka” actor in his SNL character and screamed, “Look!”

In the picture Kylie shared, was a selfie taken in the front seat of her car. She wore an ash-colored tank top, light makeup, and pink lipstick to compliment her hair.

While some criticized the beauty mogul, some praised her new look with comments like, “Obsessed with the pink hair on you,” and, “I’M SUPER OBSESSED.” Others seem to think that she went back to her ‘King Kylie’ era which was back in 2015 to 2017, when she was dating rapper Tyga who is known as King Gold Chain.

One person said, “THIS IS NOT A DRILL KING KYLIE IS BACK,” and another questioned, “KING KYLIE is back?!!!!!!!!!!” Another warned, “Stop this is giving me major throwbacks.” Meanwhile, some fans think that Kylie’s new look might be a clue that her relationship with Timothee is shaky and she might be going back to her ex Tyga.

Taking to Reddit, someone wrote, “Hardly cottage core quiet luxury…trouble in paradise???? King Kylie is back,” and another asked, “Is Timothee inspiring her to go back to King Kylie days? Or perhaps trying to get his attention? Perhaps new face? She does look different.” A third noted that the hair color is “giving breakup crisis.”
