Lady Gaga’s Dog Walker Shooting Case — How It Happened

Early last year, on February 24, 2021, Lady Gaga’s dog walker and friend Ryan Fischer, was shot, while walking Lady Gaga’s three dogs in Los Angeles.

It was reported that of Lady Gaga’s three French bulldogs Gustav, Koji, and Asia, Asia escaped while Gustav and Koji were dognapped. Fischer the dog walker had to spend several days in the hospital and was released in late March. He returned to the hospital to surgically repair his lung which was shattered severely by the shooting.

Two days later, on February 26, the two dogs were found and sent back to Lady Gaga. The LAPD said that a person had dropped off the dogs at a local police station. However, Detectives do not believe the suspects were targeting the victim because of the dogs’ owner. However, according to police, evidence suggests the suspects knew the great value of the breed of dogs and was the motivation for the robbery.

According to a press release, the LAPD’s investigation revealed the identities of the three suspects that police believe were involved in the robbery and shooting of Fischer — James Jackson, Jaylin White, and Lafayette Whaley.

Harold White and Jennifer McBride were also arrested, as alleged accessories after the initial crime. McBride reported that she found the dogs and responded to the reward email to return the dogs. She also ultimately brought the dogs to LAPD Olympic Station. McBride also said she responded to the email about the $500,000 reward money Gaga said she would give to the person who returned them. Detectives claim they have been able to establish McBride had a relationship with the father of one of the suspects, White.
