Lady Gaga – To Perform At The 64th Grammy Awards

12-time Grammy winner Lady Gaga has joined the already star-studded lineup of the upcoming Grammys as a presenter.
Lady Gaga, 36, is nominated for record of the year, best pop/duo group performance and best music video for “I Get a Kick Out of You” album of the year, and best traditional pop vocal album for “Love for Sale”. The album is a collaborative record with Tony Bennett.

The two stars teamed up for their second joint album in September, just one month after Bennett announced his retirement from touring and performing. The entire body of work was made in tribute to composer and songwriter Cole Porter. Many of Cole Porter’s unique playful and urbane lyrics have become standards. He died on 15 October 1964 as a result of Kidney failure.

Porter is known for such songs as “What Is This Thing Called Love”, “I Get A Kick Out Of You” and “Too Darn Hot”.

“I think it was the next day after the record was released and had gone No. 1”, he said, ‘I wanna make this Cole Porter record with you,’ and I said I would do it, and then guess what?” Gaga told PEOPLE upon the album’s release. “We did it!”

Together, the musical duo performed back-to-back shows at Radio City Music Hall, which Bennett’s son and manager Danny announced would be his father’s last. “There won’t be any additional concerts,” Danny Bennett told Variety at the time. “This was a hard decision for us to make, as he is a capable performer. This is, however, doctors’ orders.”

The legendary singer, songwriter and performer was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2016, and suffers short-term memory loss.
