Lady Gaga’s Dog Walker Ryan Fischer Opens Up About “Close Call With Death”

Lady GagaLady Gaga’s dog walker has opened up about his “close call with death,” after being shot trying to save the singer’s dogs.

The Chromatica singer made headlines last week after her dog walker Ryan Fischer was shot and two of her French bulldogs were kidnapped.

Ryan Fischer Details What Happened To Him As He Walked Lady Gaga’s Dogs

Now, less than a week after the tragic incident, Fischer who is currently in recovery has spoken out about the life-threatening incident and what happened when he was walking the pop star’s three dogs.

Fischer was shot once as he walked the dogs on Wednesday night on a street just off the famed Sunset Boulevard. Video captured by the doorbell camera of a nearby home recorded Fischer’s horrified screams of “Oh my God! I’ve been shot!” and “Help me!” and “I’m bleeding out from my chest!”

Fischer Wrote Lengthy Instagram Posts About His Close Call With Death

In his detailed Instagram posts Fischer revealed that he was shot but tried to save the pop singer’s third dog. Sharing photos from his hospital bed, he wrote a heart-wrenching post about Asia (one of Gaga’s three dogs), ” “Four days ago, while a car sped away and blood poured from my gunshot wound, an angel trotted over and laid next to me. My panicked screams calmed as I looked at her, even though it registered that the blood pooling around her tiny body was my own. I cradled Asia as best I could, thanked her for all the incredible adventures we’d been on together, apologized that I couldn’t defend her brothers, and then resolved that I would still try to save them… and myself.”

About his close call with death, he added, “I am still in recovery from a very close call with death and have kept myself from the growing media story. I will write and say more later, but the gratitude for all the love I feel from around this planet is immense and intense,” continuing, “I am humbled and grateful that attention and focus from the police were enough to get Koji and Gustav back to safety, and I know they are committed to bringing these criminals and attempted murderers to justice.”

Devastated Gaga Offered Hefty Rewards For The Safe Return Of Her Dogs

After the shocking incident, the devastated singer announced a reward of USD 500,000 for anyone who would return her two precious dogs, French bulldogs Koji and Gustav.

Several reports have revealed that the dogs were recovered unharmed on Friday, when a woman – not believed to be involved in the incident- showed up at a Los Angeles police station with them. As of Monday, the police are still investigating and are seeking two men in the attack.

In his posts Fischer who said “lot of healing still needs to happen” also thanked Lady Gaga – who is currently in Rome filming – for her support during the ordeal, writing “your babies are back and the family is whole … we did it!”
