Lamar Odom is still connected to the Kardashian-Jenner clan. But he doesn’t mind. He’s been open about his feelings for his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian. They married in 2009 after just two months of dating. In 2013, they separated but didn’t finalize their divorce until 2016.

That was also around the same time Khloe got involved with her on-and-off baby daddy Tristan Thompson. Lamar recently shared a confession about his ex-wife. He shared the status of their present-day relationship. He admitted that his substance abuse was the reason for their divorce.

“I wish I could have been more of a man. It still bothers me to this day,” Lamar Odom told People. “But regret is something we have to learn to live with.”

He also was unfaithful to Khloe Kardashian throughout their marriage. He ended up at a brothel in California during one of his benders. In his new memoir, Darkness to Light, Lamar admitted that their marriage was “bliss” and that he felt “the happiest I’ve ever been.”

“We were one of the most famous couples in Hollywood and we made more money together than we did individually,” Lamar continued. “At the start of the marriage, I was faithful to her. But I could not handle the lethal cocktail of the spotlight, addiction, a diminishing career, and infidelity.”

Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce in December 2013. At the time, Lamar Odom overdosed at a brothel. Once he entered rehab and was on the road to recovery, the couple finalized their divorce in 2016. Lamar shared an update on The Breakfast Club about his relationship with Khloe.

During the interview, co-host DJ Envy surprises Lamar with a question. He asked, “What do you miss more, the NBA or Khloe Kardashian?” Lamar admitted that he “misses my wife more.” DJ Envy wanted to know if the exes still spoke to this day.

Lamar Odom admitted they don’t have a good relationship. There are times when he’ll slide into her DMs and Khloe responds. Lamar was also asked if he believed in the Kardashian Curse and he said, “Nah.”
