Leah Remini and Jennifer Lopez have enjoyed a wonderful friendship for years. And so everyone expected Jennifer to invite Leah to her wedding to Ben Affleck. But Remini didn’t show up at the three-day ceremony. And that led to rumors that Leah and Lopez had ended their friendship. 

However, insiders revealed two very different tales of why Remini skipped the wedding. Did Scientology contribute? Or did Leah’s views on Ben Affleck cause her to snub the ceremony? Get all the details below!

Jennifer Lopez – Invites Leah Remini To Ben Affleck Wedding

When Jennifer Lopez sent out wedding invitations, she made certain that her best friend Leah Remini received an invite. But Leah never appeared at the ceremony in Georgia. Did she dislike the fact that Jennifer had decided to tie the knot with Ben Affleck? Or had Remini resolved to snub the wedding because of friendship problems?

Team Leah insiders insist that all the rumors and speculation didn’t come close to the truth. And they say that Leah chose to keep her commitments to her daughter Sofia. The 18-year-old will soon head off to college. As a result, Remini wanted to spend time with her teenager, reported Pop Culture.

But Scientology also played a role in Leah’s decision. Remini reportedly feels guilty that her involvement with Scientology caused her to miss out on time with her family. And so Leah wanted to make up for how Scientology stole her from her family by focusing on her daughter. However, Lopez reportedly doesn’t hold a grudge about her BFF’s absence.

Leah Remini – Rumors Include Blaming Ben Affleck!

But a different source alleges that problems between Leah and Ben contributed to Remini skipping the wedding. And that insider claimed that Leah dislikes Ben. “Lean isn’t a fan of Ben’s,” summed up the source.

And the insider alleged that Affleck and Remini clash. Because the two can’t seem to mesh, Leah’s friendship with Jennifer got impacted. Ben and Remini “don’t get along,” claimed the source. “And when you go up against someone’s partner, you always lose.”

However, the insider also pointed to Jennifer’s and Leah’s friendship history. For instance, Remini supported Lopez when Ben caused Jennifer heartbreak. And Leah also knows all the inside details about what happened during that first split. As a result, the insider understands why Remini dislikes Affleck.

“Leah was there for Jen when Ben broke her heart. Leah knows everything, all the ugly details about what went down between her best friend and Ben. No wonder she doesn’t like him,” said the source. “Jennifer might have been ready to move on and forgive Ben,” noted the insider. “But Leah hasn’t and is worried it will happen again.”
