Some habits are hard to break, but Leonardo DiCaprio is not about the repeat his same mistakes. Despite reports suggesting that he’s dating a 19-year-old, Leonardo DiCaprio’s publicist says that there’s simply no truth to them. Here’s what you need to know.

According to TMZ, Leo’s publicist went on the record to deny the rumors that suggested he was dating 19-year0old Israeli model Eden Polani.

Even though they were sitting next to each other at a party, sources say that they are not dating. Still, a lot of people couldn’t help but point out the actor’s penchant for women who are significantly younger than he is.

Dr. Charlotte Puttman, an author an feminist who often goes on television programs to talk about gender equality, made a point about the reports on her Twitter account. She wrote, “Leonardo DiCaprio has reportedly never dated a woman under 30 but it’s almost 20 years since he was 30. Taylor Swift was right, ‘I’ll get older but your lovers stay my age’ — it really is the vibe for picking girls in Hollywood.”

It seems like the majority of her Twitter followers were split on the matter as many of them commented on the situation with, “Someone made a valid point in an earlier post….No one is saying anything about the age gap between Madonna & her boyfriend. There is a 41 year age gap in that relationship.

Why is this even a topic of conversation – they are consenting adults,” along with, “Hollywood is youth obsessed, so it makes sense that people want to date younger and view themselves as younger no matter how old they get. Ageism is a problem everywhere, but especially there.”
