Neeson Reveals His Plan To Go Into Retirement
Liam Neeson has been a face that’s become familiar in big blockbuster action-thriller films, from his famous Taken-era days to recent projects like Honest Thief and The Maskman, with a few upcoming ones as well.
But Liam Neeson isn’t sure how much longer he can go on, and as much as he loves action-packed movies, he believes that he’s almost at the very end of his acting career. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight in January, he revealed his intentions to move on from acting sometime in the near future, citing age as a cause.
“I’m 68 and a half — 69 this year,” he told ET. “There’s a couple more I’m going to do this year — hopefully, COVID allowing us — there’s a couple in the pipeline and, then I think that will probably be it. Well, unless I’m on a Zimmer frame or something.”
