The 32-year-old spent close to a decade in prison after being convicted of second degree murder following the killing of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.
As many are aware, Blanchard plotted and murdered her mother with then boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn who is currently serving life in prison.
Docuseries Set To Chronicle Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Life After Prison
The docuseries will chronicle her return to the outside world, her marriage to Ryan Anderson. The couple married during Gypsy’s incarceration in 2022.
As already shared in the tabloids, Blanchard is now divorcing the gym teacher and has recently been seen out and about with her ex fiancé Ken Urker.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard – Shares Her Battle With Mental Health
In the trailer for the special, Gypsy shares that she doesn’t feel free since leaving prison. “I do not feel free. I feel like I am in a different form of prison.”
The 32-year old has recently shared that she has been experiencing mental health issues due to all of the media coverage. She has death threats from crazy people and appears to feel unsafe.
A Family Reunion
On top of a reunion with her family, viewers will also see Gypsy’s ex husband make an appearance in the docuseries.
West will discuss his relationship with Gypsy who he began writing to when she was in prison. “I don’t want to lose my wife, I love her,” Anderson shares.
Gypsy will also discuss going under the knife as she describes how she dislikes the bump in her nose. Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up is scheduled to premiere on Lifetime on June 3rd at 9pm EST.
