The 2022 World Cup was a World Cup to end all World Cups. The final packed so much excitement that people are still talking about it, even as we celebrate Christmas. Elon Musk was there, the president of France was there, and so many influential figures from all over the world witnessed the moment Messi won his first world cup.

He got a golden robe to commemorate his epic win, and Kylian Mbappe, the guy who almost robed Messi and Argentina of the coveted World Cup title, went home as the highest goal scorer in the football tournament.

A week later, Messi got into the Christmas mood with his family.

It has been such a special year for Messi, who, during what is his last World Cup, secured the coveted World Cup title: a feat that naturally put him above his greatest competition Christiano Ronaldo.

After the astounding win where he scored two goals to help Argentina secure the win, Messi, 35, is relaxing with his family over the holidays.

Antonella shared the snap of the family in front of their beautiful Christmas tree, which is decorated with mostly silvery ornaments.

Their sons Mateo and Ciro marched in white tees, while Thiago rocked a black sweatshirt.

In another video clip Messi posted on his Instagram, Antonella Roccuzzo is seen dancing in a red dress while sipping white wine.

During Messi’s historic win at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, two of his kids joined him in the field to celebrate. It was such a proud moment for Messi, and it was made more special by his children being there to celebrate it with him.

To make it more special, the boys even proudly rocked their father’s number and name at the back of the jerseys they wore to watch the game.
