During a recent guest appearance on Conan , Kudrow who played Phoebe Buffay, revealed that her son, Julian, used to think that her Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston – who played Rachel Green- was his mom.

Speaking of her son, now 23, she said, “I know he hasn’t seen every episode. I know for a while, in school, people were watching it. He kind of felt like he had to so that he can participate in what everyone else was watching. And he did really think that everybody else was very funny on the show.”

She added that her son who spent time on set as a baby was obsessed with Jennifer, “He’d fly into her lap. Well, she’s a love bug, and that made sense. And I was always glad for anyone that Julian felt love for and felt from. But then at home, she’d be on TV, and he’d go, ‘Mommy!’”

The Affection Between Lisa Kudrow’s Son And Jennifer Aniston Has Been Mutual And Long Lasting

Kudrow and her son are still close with Aniston, the latter being one of the first to comment on Kudrow’s Instagram birthday tribute to her son earlier this month, gushing “Happy Birthday, Juls!!! Feels like yesterday that you arrived.”

Meanwhile, the highly-anticipated Friends reunion for HBO Max has been filmed. Earlier this year Kudrow spoke of the unscripted special, ” We’re not portraying our characters. It’s us getting together, which just doesn’t happen a lot and has never happened in front of other people since 2004 when we stopped. “I think it’ll be great.”
