Priscilla Presley is claiming that it isn’t right, or legal, that Lisa Marie should remove her name from one of the trustees of the multi-million dollar estate without telling her.

Michael Lockwood – Promises To Protect The Interests Of His Twin Daughters

Amid the family’s ongoing trust battle, Michael Lockwood has been named the guardian ad litem of his 14-year-old twin daughters, Harper and Finley.

On Thursday, Lockwood’s lawyer Scott Rahn said that he was “ready, able and willing to protect their interests” during the hearing held in Los Angeles regarding his petition to represent the twins in the family’s trust battle.

Judge Lynn Healey Scaduto granted the request after ascertaining that Lockwood, 61, had a good relationship with the other interested parties in this case.

“Lockwood has a good, collegial, familial relationship with all of the parties involved,” Rahn said. “He is not only legally bound but also morally bound to protect [the twins’] interests.” However, a source revealed that the reason Lockwood wasn’t invited to Lisa Marie’s funeral at Graceland was because it was the last thing she would have wanted, hinting at where their relationship stood before her death.

The next hearing is scheduled for May 16.

All We Know About the Reason Michael Lockwood Wants To Represent His Daughters During Trust Battle

There’s nothing like fighting over property, but be that as it may, Lockwood wants to make sure that the interests of his young daughters are protected so they won’t be cheated out of their rights.

Lockwood filed the petition to represent the girls in March, stating that “the minor is a beneficiary of a trust at issue before the probate court in the above-referenced case. The minor requires appointment of a guardian ad litem to represent her interests in the proceeding. There is no conflict regarding appointment because the proposed guardian is not a beneficiary of the trust instrument at issue.”

It is understood that both Harper and Finley signed documents consenting to Lockwood being their guardian ad litem.
