Lori Loughlin recently made a career comeback after the college admissions scandal. But her husband Mossimo Giannulli, who also served prison time, reportedly reacted strongly to his wife’s success.
Find out about a new report about how Lori and Mossimo have survived after the scandal. And keep reading to discover how the situation has impacted their family, including daughters Bella and Olivia Jade.
Lori Loughlin – Makes Career Comeback
Mossimo Giannulli and Lori Loughlin both received prison sentences in the college admissions scandal.
But Lori has seen her career make a comeback after bribing college officials to let her daughters into college. However, an insider told Radar that Lori’s successful return sparked tension within her family.
And Loughlin has fared much better than Giannulli, claim the sources. Lori, 59, served two months in prison amid her marriage to Giannulli. The two tied the knot in 1997. But Mossimo served five months for his role in the scheme.
Lori and her 60-year-old husband paid $500,000 to bribe officials to admit their unqualified daughters Bella and Olivia Jade into the University of Southern California as varsity rowers. But the sisters lacked qualifications. And despite that, Lori has received a flood of entertainment industry offers, say insiders.
Lori Loughlin – ‘Cleaned Up Her Act’
A new report claimed that Loughlin’s success has sparked marriage problems and made Giannulli jealous. But the couple’s spokesperson described the family as doing well, contradicting allegations about marriage problems and jealousy.

However, a source also shared that Lori has changed since the college admissions scandal. And the insider revealed, “Lori’s not the sour character she was in the past. She’s cleaned up her act and is a nicer person. And that’s been noticed in Hollywood.”
As a result, the source revealed that Hollywood has opened its studio doors again to Lori. “But the same can’t be said for Mossimo,” claimed the insider. However, Giannulli, a fashion designer, has worked hard to make his own comeback.
Lori Loughlin – Pays For Students’ Education
But the source claimed that Mossimo’s attempts to get business deals allegedly have failed. As a result, “nothing is taking off. And he’s taking it out on Lori,” alleged the insider. “Their friends predict even more trouble — unless he changes his attitude!”
When Loughlin received her release from prison, she promised to pay for the education of two anonymous students to complete their four-year college programs. And nine months later, Lori began her comeback.
Loughlin spent more than half a million dollars to make sure that the two anonymous students benefited. For instance, she paid for their living expenses as well as education as they finished their four years at college. And sources shared that Lori “privately arranged to put two students through four years of college” to “put the past behind her” and “move on.” But the insider claimed that Loughlin feels there’s a “stigma attached to her by people who don’t want her to have any success.”
