However, for the first time since that scandal, Lori headed to an awards show. And she beamed as she posed for photographers. Get all the details below.

Lori Loughlin – Looks Joyful At First Awards Show Since Scandal

Full House star Lori Loughlin showed her joy at the 30th Annual Movie Guide Awards in Los Angeles, California. And she smiled happily in her first time at an awards show since the college admissions scandal. Posing for photographers, Lori put her time in prison behind her, noted Page Six.

The 58-year-old mom of Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose Giannulli chose a pink silk blazer, pink trousers, and a silk blouse for the event. And she held a pink clutch as she balanced on pink pointy heels. However, Loughlin chose a more casual look for her hair and makeup. And she kept her cosmetics minimal, with her hair simply arranged in a bun with a few loose locks.

Heading to the red carpet, Lori found a familiar face. And the actress spent time with her friend and former co-star, Candace Cameron Bure. However, although Lori and Candace posed together for photos, they avoided questions from the media.

Lori and Candace served as co-presenters for the award show at Hollywood’s Avalon Theater. And they also spent time with other stars. For instance, those attending included This Is Us actress Chrissy Metz and singer/dancer Paula Abdul. Supermodel Kathy Ireland, Haylie Duff, The Office actress Kate Flannery, and Tiffany Daniels also attended.

Since her release from prison in December 2020, Lori did attend one other red carpet event. And in June 2022, Loughlin walked the red carpet at the DesignCare Gala. However, the actress also recently made her first TV appearance since the college admissions scandal. And Lori served as a guest star on KTLA’s Lead With Love 3 telethon. Loughlin made her first post-prison TV appearance in order to promote her efforts to help the Project Angel Food charity in Los Angeles.

The Full House star and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, both entered guilty pleas in May 2020 in the college admissions scandal. And the couple admitted to paying bribery money in order to get their daughters Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Giannulli into the University of Southern California as fake rowing recruits. Mossimo received his release from prison in April 2021.
