Madonna Steals 2023 Grammys Spotlight With ‘New Face’ Plastic Surgery Shock!

Madonna just stole the spotlight at the 2023 Grammys. But the songstress didn’t do so for her singing talent. And Madonna didn’t even attract attention for her style success. 

Because of how shockingly different the singer appeared, Madonna stole the spotlight for shock value. And some fans thought that the songstress went way too far in what looks like an overdose of plastic surgery. Get all the details below.

Madonna – Confuses Fans With Her ‘New Face’

Celebrities have become famous for using plastic surgery to try to halt aging. But Madonna looked so different at the 2023 Grammys on Sunday that fans flooded social media with speculation. And some claimed that the 64-year-old songstress looked more like an impersonator than Madonna, noted Page Six.

The spotlight turned on Madonna when she walked on stage to introduce Kim Petras and Sam Smith for their Unholy appearance. But fans paid more attention to Madonna’s face than Petras and Smith. For instance, one social media commentator wrote, “This legit looks like a Madonna impersonator with pics of rhe [sic] real Madonna in the background. She really f–ked up her face.”

And another didn’t hesitate to get shady. “Madonna looks good for her age… if her age is 2,700 year old vampire who eats babies and small animals alive,” joked the rude troll. However, critics mainly expressed confusion.

However, some social media commentators couldn’t resist mocking Madonna. For instance, one teased, “Has Madonna been nominated for ‘Best New Face’ at this year’s Grammy Awards?” And another wanted to know what type of “magic formula was used to create #Madonna’s new face‍♀️? I’m so confused #GRAMMYs.”

But alas, the Material Girl songstress didn’t get much attention for her style at the award show. And she tried her best to stand out in terms of her hair and her attire. For instance, Madonna wore braided ponytails and bleached eyebrows. And she sported a black blazer dress and maxi skirt over a white collared shirt and black tie. Fishnet tights and purple platform heels completed her look.

However, the songstress has made it clear that she welcomes controversy. “Here’s what I’ve learned after four decades in music,” she shared in her speech. “If they call you shocking, scandalous, troublesome, problematic, provocative or dangerous, you’re definitely onto something.” And the pop music queen thanked her fellow “rebels” for daring to behave in a different way.

Madonna previously faced criticism in the past year for looking so different. And plastic surgeons have speculated on her procedures. For instance, some think that she underwent a facelift, nose job and skin procedures.
