Marjorie Taylor Greene Can’t Take A Joke?

We all know how far the Will Smith slap news at the Oscars has gone, everyone knows. Though the news is now last month’s news, references are still made to it. People make jokes with it here and there, every once in a while. While it can be used as a joke to some, it can also be used as a threat.

Marjorie Taylor Greene in this case took it as a threat. On Tuesday at Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host Jimmy Kimmel read out a tweet from MGT where Marjorie said that the three Republican Senators Murkowski, Collins, and Romney agreed to vote “yes” on Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court are “pro-pedophile.” MGT said that in reference to claims by other Republicans that Jackson had previously let sex offenders off the hook with lenient sentences.

Jimmy on his show said “Marjorie Taylor Greene, this Klan mom, is especially upset with the three Republican senators who said they’ll vote ‘Yes’ on Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, who’s nominated for the Supreme Court. She tweeted, ‘Murkowski, Collins, and Romney are pro-pedophile. They just voted for KBJ,” the host quoted her, after which he said, “Wow, where is Will Smith when you really need him?”

Now, Jimmy never really said what he needed Will Smith for, we never got to know why Jimmy needed Will Smith because he never said why. Well, things got interesting when MGT thought Jimmy needed Will Smith to deliver his signature slap to her, so she tweeted on the evening of the next day that she has reported Jimmy to Capitol Police for threat of violence against her. The tweet reads “@ABC, this threat of violence against me by @jimmykimmel has been filed with the @CapitolPolice.”

Jimmy after seeing the tweet didn’t seem to be bothered by it as he tweeted “Officer? I would like to report a joke.”

In response to Jimmy, MGT maintained that it wasn’t a joke, she proceeded to release two audio phone calls to her office Thursday evening, where both callers referred to Kimmel while describing threats of violence against Greene.

Jimmy kicked off Thursday night on his show with the situation where MGT reported his joke to the Capitol Police. He said “I have the weirdest life, I really do. Once again I find myself in the middle of a brouhaha,” he said, “as I appear to have run afoul of probably the worst woman in American politics.”

Jimmy in referring to MGT as “Klan Mom,” said that MTG’s response was only to “get some political mileage” out of the situation. “This is what she does instead of working, she tweets,” he continued, before addressing her tweeting that — due to his joke — she wondered, “how many new death threats will I get that are your fans?”

“Not only don’t I condone death or any kind of threats against anyone, especially since I get dozens of them a week myself from the sickos that align with you,” he continued. “Remember, she is the one who endorsed fringe conspiracy theories and repeatedly indicated support for executing prominent Democratic politicians.”

“Now she’s dialing 911 because she got made fun of,” he added. “She’s a snowflake and a sociopath at the same time – a snociopath.”

Jimmy also threatened to take the squabble to the Justice League to settle things. He then proceeded to write a letter to Batman, reporting a “supervillain” who “like the Riddler,” believes in coded messages and, like the Joker, “thinks she is funny” and, like the Penguin, is “5’3”

Marjorie Taylor Greene  – Do We Have An MGT Stan Account Already?

The brouhaha between MGT and Kimmel has got someone picking sides already, as Matt Geez took to Twitter to tweet “Not only would Marjorie Taylor Greene’s husband make quick work of you, but @RepMTG herself would make quick work of you! Kimmel would not last too long if he were interested in engaging in unprovoked, terrible violence against his Congresswoman.”

Trust Jimmy to always have a reply for everything, as he tweeted “What are you suggesting, another threesome?” cracked Kimmel, before reading his Twitter response to Gaetz on air. “I wrote back, ‘NOTE to @RepMattGaetz – stay indoors. It’s Girl Scout cookie season.”
