Mark Consuelos Concerned About Getting “Cancelled” From LIVE With Kelly

The LIVE With Kelly show has taken an interesting turn now that Mark Consuelos Concerned About Getting’s real-life husband, Mark Consuelos, has joined her side as the new, full-time co-host.

There’s far more “sports talk” and the once trivia contest has evolved into a “Stump Mark” competition segment.

In fact, during a recent “Stump Mark” on LIVE, Consuelos questioned how long he would remain on the show.

Mark Consuelos’s Bizarre “Stump Mark” Segment

As fans of LIVE well know, Mark keeps a record of his wins and losses during the “Stump Mark” segments. He’s even walked off the set before, as he tends to get a tad upset when he loses.

Interestingly enough, a recent guest interaction took a turn for the worse when Mark questioned if “this was it” for him.

During the segment, Kelly Ripa looked at the live crowd as she announced the “Stump Mark” segment, jokingly noting that they were ‘bloodthirsty’. This is when Mark introduced a guest hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Sarah Gafgen.

She noted that her cats are named after Greek characters and that she delivers singing telegrams. One of those statements was a lie, and Consuelos’s job was to determine which was the truth.

Mark asked Sarah to sing a telegram to Kelly about her broken hip. By the look on Kelly’s face, she seemed horrified, as Sarah began with, “Pardon me” and went on to say, “Your hip’s broken, and that’s too bad … feel better … love, Mark.”

The segment painfully wore on, as Mark asked Sarah to sing about her dead cat, where he started singing, “I’m sorry your cat is dead.” Gafgen refused. Mark then looked at his wife, and stated, “Is today the day? Is today the day I get canceled?”

Kelly reassured her concerned husband that this “Stump Mark” segment would not get him canceled from the show. In the end, he ended up scoring a win on the segment, continuing his winning streak.
