Martha Stewart Celebrates 83rd Birthday With Snoop Dogg At the Olympics

There’s three different kinds of love: friendship, romance, and then whatever it is Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg have got going on. And don’t misunderstand me, I love it. They’re tight as thieves and have always got each other’s backs through the decades.

So if there’s one person lifestyle influencer and fashionista Stewart wants by her side as she celebrates her 83rd birthday, it’s the rapper Snoop Dogg.

Martha Stewart is one happy 83-year-old, and why not? How many people get to celebrate their birthday at Paris, during the Olympics, with bestie Snoop Dogg, a cake made of macarons and a muppet? Nobody actually, unless you’re one Martha Stewart.

On August 3, Stewart and Snoop Dogg, 52, donned matching riding helmets, jackets, white pants and coordinated sunglasses at the Olympics dressage event.

Speaking on how she and Snoop got to attend the event together on The Today show, Stewart said, “Snoop called me, and he knows I love horses. He’s a little fearful of horses.

“

In honor of her upcoming special day, Stewart was surprised by a birthday cake and her on-camera appearance with Snoop Dogg was interrupted by Cookie Monster, who is known for exchanging witticisms with John Oliver, Sesame Street neighbor Big Bird, and E.T. As the interview progressed, the muppet surprised Stewart by sneaking up behind her and gushing, “Martha! Hi! Happy birthday.”

After Snoop Dogg asked the cookie monster what it was doing, it presented Stewart with her special birthday cake, made of macrons and shaped like a cone.

In the days leading up to her birthday, Stewart made headlines for her fashion statements.

On her way to the Paris games, the celebrity chef and lifestyle guru shared a photo of herself on her Instagram Stories at the airport. She rocked a patriotic red-white-blue outfit with matching bags in the snap.

“This is the way to go to Paris to the Olympics,” Stewart wrote over the picture. “Luggage in American and French red white and blue!!!” She also tagged Rimowa as the suitcase brand she’s traveling with.
