This love ain’t loving much right now, and not even the festive season or the fact that Megan Fox is pregnant with her and Machine Gun Kelly‘s first child together is doing anything to reignite it.

Sure they got back together to see if they would be able to make it work, especially with a child on the horizon, and that was when MGK reportedly blindsided Megan Fox with another breakup.

Rumors say the two “hotheaded” couples have been having more and more frequent fights as the days trampled on. Fyi, Fox clashed with MGK after finding “material that was upsetting” in his phone.

Megan Fox “Distraught” Over MGK Breakup, But Over It Now

According to PEOPLE, an insider reached out to share that Megan Fox was completely “blindsided” by the sudden breakup.

At the moment, the expecting mother is said to have shifted her focus to the baby’s arrival, even though she was “distraught” over the breakup.

News of the split broke on December 10, 2024, nearly a month after they announced that they were expecting their first child together.

The ‘Transformers’ actress is said to be “devastated and very emotional,” and that she “feels like she can’t trust [MGK]. They have had so many issues in the past. Megan was always hopeful that they would be able to work it out.”

However, her stance this time seems to be that “she’s over it now.”

“They broke up in late November,” a source told Us Weekly. “They were trying to make it work again after the pregnancy, but they are both too hot-headed and fell back into their constant fighting. They can’t get on the same page and it’s not easy for them being together.”

What Caused Megan Fox and MGK Breakup?

News of a split was broken by TMZ when the couple were vacationing in Vail, Colorado, over the Thanksgiving Weekend.

According to the outlet, “The reason for their split is that Megan found material on MGK’s phone that was upsetting, and it made her want him to leave the trip early.”

However, sources told US Weekly that regardless of this, the couple decided to try hard to make their romance work because of the baby. Sadly, they couldn’t get on the same page long enough to save their on-off relationship.

“They love each other but don’t have compatible personalities,” another source told PEOPLE after the split. “They’re both hot-heads, dramatic and stubborn. When they’re good together, they’re great… They will very likely get back together. They’ve split in the past and then worked things out.”

Nevertheless, they’re both said to be very excited about the arrival of the baby.
