Mel B Shares Why She Was Kicked out Of The ‘Spice Girls’ Group Chat

Can we all agree that “Spice Girls” are unbreakable? Because since the formation of the girl band music group in 1994 that consists of five young women and even after they unofficially disbanded and moved on to achieve greater things, they still kept in contact with each other and still shared a bond that not even distance could break.

Last month, a member of the girl group Mel B otherwise known as Melanie Brown aka “Scary Spice” revealed during an appearance on “Tamron Hall” that the group is planning a reunion to celebrate their 30 years anniversary.

The “I Want You Back” singer said, “I’m gonna make it happen. It’s my life and I love being a Spice Girl… I mean us five have been talking together, and we are gonna announce something pretty soon. That’s all I can say.”

Not long after the 48-year-old shared the news of a potential reunion, word got out that Mel was kicked out of the girls’ group chat.

Mel B — On Why Mel B Was Kicked Out Of ‘Spice Girls’ Group Chat

During a recent appearance on the U.K.’s “This Morning,” host Alison Hammond queried Mel about why she was kicked out by her colleagues, “I heard you got kicked out of the WhatsApp group,” said Alison, to which the “Hot” singer said that kicking her out of the group has become a norm because she always blabs about their group without their consent.

Confirming Alison’s remark, Mel said, “Ah, yeah, that always happens to me. Yeah. Because I say things. I get so excited when it comes to Spice Girls, because it is 30 years!” She continued, “We’ve got a lot to celebrate: The fact that we’re all still healthy, and living life, and all talking still.”

During the discussion, Mel somehow hinted that she learned her lesson following her recent kick out as she made sure not to divulge further information, “I can’t say anything else to get myself kicked out.” She went on to take a trip down memory lane, back to when the group spent time together.

“Thinking back to all the stuff that we did, you know, I mean I’ve got diaries where, like, Emma [Bunton]’s written in it, Mel C — nobody’s ever gonna see it, by the way,” she said. “I look at it, and we’d just landed in Japan, we’d got our number one — it takes me right back there. You know, the certain things that we’ve done together, you can’t really explain it because it happened to us five, and it was just extraordinary.”

When host Dermot O’Leary told Mel, “You think, when you look back at it, you guys were together for a lot longer than you were, but you weren’t, were you? You got so much in, in such a short period of time,” the “Feels So Good” singer proudly said, “We were together forever. We are still together.”
