That’s because she wants to make sure that her son Barron Trump is happy and she thinks that moving him back and forth between Florida and D.C. just won’t be good for him, especially during his very pivotal time in his life right now. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

There’s heavy speculation that Melania Trump wants to stay permanently in Florida. Even though Barron Trump is a teenager now and probably doesn’t need his mother as much as he did when he was younger, she still wants to be there every day for him.
Plus, he’s wrapping up his high school years and will be transitioning to college soon. Melania knows that there are going to be some major changes in his life and that’s why she thinks that moving back to Washington, D.C. might not be the best decision for him right now.
Should Donald Trump win the election in November, then he will expect Melania and Barron to move back to the White House with him. But Melania might refuse to do so just because she doesn’t want to uproot her son once again.
He’s already had to move from New York City to D.C. and then to Florida and the last thing Melania wants right now is for her son to change schools and friends yet again. Sure, the presidency is important for Donald, but family is far more important for Melania.

I respect Melanias wishes. Her son’s future is obviously very important & top priority in her life. It’s Not that she doesn’t love Donald but stability for her son takes front seat & I’m almost sure her husband would agree. They have the finances for travel & visiting.
Melania should ask her 18 year old son what college he might want to go to and maybe, just maybe, he might want to get out from under her “mothering” and take some fatherly instructions on how to become a man!!!!
Don’t you think she wants to keep him away from any influence on him from the narcissist, indicted, women abuser, etc., etc?

With Donold in prison, I think Malonia and Baron should begin to prepare for a permanent separation from the toxic poison in their family and start fresh. Baron deserves a clean slate.
Too bad. I’m an Air Force brat. All of us kids had to move to New locations when our father was transferred growing up. This is not different for government employees. DEAL WITH IT.
Barron is graduating high school this year! Since he probably will be going away to college, what difference would It make? I doubt Barron is going to Palm Beach Community College, FAU or even Miami! Melanie probably doesn’t want to trade Palm Beach for DC. (Few women would)
