Michael Strahan Bids Farewell With Amusing Pack-Up

The news that Michael Strahan was planning to leave Good Morning America (GMA) arrived in February this year. Now that he’s leaving the old office, he shared an amusing clip as he packed up. Read on for more details and to watch the video.

The Anchor Lost None Of His Humor

Michael always seems to be entertaining, and his fans watch him on GMA as an anchor and on Fox because he loves his connection to sports. Remember, his background came from the NFL. However, for a while, it was difficult for him as his daughter Isabella fought for her life when she was diagnosed with brain cancer.

Michael was rumored to leave in the summer and allegedly didn’t extend his contract because he wanted to spend more time with his family. However, Hello reported two weeks ago that he told Jay Harris that he wants to stay with GMA.

Nevertheless, he was packing up his dressing room, but only because their office is relocating. You can see in the video below that he kept his humor intact.

The Video

When Michael Strahan invited his fans into his dressing room as he packed up, many people enjoyed it. One of them commented on YouTube, “Hi micheal we r very big fan s every morning we enjoy ur important talk s and fun silly stuff good luck in the new studio guys.”

Strahan’s dressing room was full of clutter that he had accumulated. So, fans saw him with a photo of George Stephanopoulos, and another one of him with Prince Harry. Yet another photo showed him with former New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin.

The anchor said, in part:

My dressing room is kind of a mess. It’s a lot of stuff in here. You don’t realize how much you accumulate until you’ve got to pack it up. Obviously for me, the biggest thing would be pictures. I have so many great memories here in pictures.

Showing each picture, Michael explained more, saying, “This is one of my favorites: a superimposed George Stephanopoulos dancing because he refuses to dance on the show. Here’s me and Prince Harry. One of my favorite interviews was me and former President Obama.”

Pointing to another picture, he said, “I got this picture of me and my guys, Antonio Pierce, Jeff Feeles, and Sean O’Hare, along with Coach Coughlin.”

Fans React

Some fans of Michael Strahan thought he was leaving his place of work forever. However, that’s not the case. He is only relocating from Times Square to downtown. Once those queries were set aside, more people chatted about the video.

One of them wrote, “Love you all the time,” while adding a string of red heart emojis.

Another one who put up laughing emojis claimed that it looked like a teenager’s room.
