Miley Cyrus Bids Bittersweet Goodbye to 2024, Welcomes 2025

A famous Christmas song once told us “to face unafraid the plans that we’ve made,” and naturally, getting to the end of every year tends to make us open up to many reflections. We look back to the past months to see what we’ve done, but there’s also this hope for greater moments in the coming year.

For Miley Cyrus, 2024 was just special, and even though it’s hard for her to say her goodbyes, she’s already looking forward to reinventing herself for the new year. How about a healthier, more confident, more fun-filled, successful and joyous one, yeah?

“HAPPY HOLIDAYS & NEW YEAR!” The ‘Flowers’ hitmaker, 32, wished her millions of Instagram followers on Dec. 23.

She continued: “It’s bittersweet saying goodbye to a year that has been so good to me, but I am looking forward to starting over again. This is one of my favorite parts of not just the creative process but the way life has chosen to teach me.”

“In everything I do I like to go ALL the way. Give it ALL I’ve got. ALL for it to come to an end, move on and start anew,” she continued. “At times it can be a heartbreaking process but I’ve always known the pieces to come back together and create something beautiful.”

This year gave Cyrus her very first Grammy Awards, even swooping Song of the Year at the Awards ceremony in February for her hit single, ‘Flowers.’ She performed the iconic hit that night, during which she happily added, “I just won my first Grammy.”

Later on, she added, “This award is amazing. But I really hope that it doesn’t change anything because my life was beautiful yesterday,” she said upon accepting the award.”

“Not everyone in the world will get a Grammy, but everyone in this world is spectacular,” she said, joking, “So please don’t think that this is important, even though it’s very important, right guys?”
