Millie Bobby Brown On Being “Ready” To Say Farewell To “Stranger Things”
“Stranger Things” has captivated fans since its release in 2016, and while fans may not be emotionally ready to say goodbye to the iconic show, Millie Bobby Brown is.
“When you’re ready, you’re like, ‘Alright, let’s do this,’” she told Glamour. “Let’s tackle this last senior year. Let’s get out of here.”
After appearing in the show since its first season, Brown, 19, revealed that her time on the show provided her with the knowledge and tools to be a better actor.

“It’s been such a huge factor in part of my life, but it’s like graduating high school, it’s like senior year,” she said in another interview with Women’s Wear Daily, adding, “You’re ready to go and blossom and flourish and you’re grateful for the time you’ve had, but it’s time to create your own message and live your own life.”
And when she said she’s ready to live her life, she means it. Though only 19, the actress already has a lot of ventures under her belt; she’s an author, a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, a movie producer, the owner of a successful makeup company, and to top it all off, a student at Purdue University.
“Stranger Things” takes up a lot of time to film and it’s preventing me from creating stories that I’m passionate about,” she said, before assuring fans that she won’t be saying a final goodbye to her castmates after the show ends, since she still plans to meet up from time to time.

For Brown, marriage is something she wants to happen “now,” and she’s found herself a soulmate who doesn’t see marriage in the traditional sense.
“After meeting Jake and seeing, ‘Oh, I don’t have to be this stereotypical wife for him. He doesn’t want me to be that either. He wants me to go and do my thing and live my life, and he will hold my hand in the process of that,’ I was like, ‘Oh, I do want this,'” she said.
