Millie Bobby – Brown Reveals Friendship Status With Mariah Carey
According to Jimmy Fallon, who has been host to a lot of celebrity scoops and scandals, Millie Bobby Brown‘s latest revelation is the “biggest scoop in the history of The Tonight Show”.
The actress, best known for her role in the hit series “Stranger Things”, shared on Thursday night, October 27, that her friendship with Mariah Carey is next level stuff.
The 18-year-old star revealed that she’s not only in the “in crowd” with A-lister Mariah Carey – “We connected. We texted today, oh yeah. She called me today. Oh yeah.” – she’s also worked in the studio with the multi-award winning songstress.
Jimmy Fallon, laughing it off, said that she was pulling his leg, but she insisted that she wasn’t, saying: “The reason is because she, you know, grew up in the public eye and we have connected just on so many different levels. But also, I love the way that she leads her life with so much power, and she has so much knowledge and she’s so wise. And she’s just been an incredible guiding light for me.”
To show how deep a bond she actually shares with the chart-toppper, Millie Bobby Brown recalled one time Carey broke into her signature whistle tone while they ate Chinese food.
But what made Jimmy Fallon fall out of his seat in awe was the scoop that she’s actually sang together with Carey, “like in her studio sung together”.
“What? Wait! Is there something…Could something be in the works?” he exclaimed, to which Brown excitedly teased, “Potentially! I mean, she’s always doing something. She is, like, the busiest woman ever. I call her and she’s, like, in the middle of changing the planet.”
However, singing together on a song won’t be Brown’s first collaboration with Carey, as she’s already helped the “You Belong With Me” singer recreate the opening scene of the iconic “Honey” music video to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of Carey’s 1997 album “Butterfly”.
