Mossimo Giannulli – The Fashion Designer Set Free

Mossimo Giannuli was set free to retire for community service or home arrest. It simply implies that he spends the remaining of his sentenced months with his family – under close supervision of the Bureau of Prisons field office in San Pedro, or that he does a community service halfway home. He was initially sentenced to five months in prison and compelled to serve 24 months of supervised release.

For the community duty, Mossimo Giannulli must spend 250 hours at a stretch with a fine payment of $250,000. For Lori Loughlin (former Full House star), she must serve 100 hours at a stretch of community duty and also be compelled to pay a fine of $150,000. Mossimo Giannulli – Reason for Mossimo’s Arrest

It is no news for fans of the fashion designer and his beloved wife that sometimes in 2020, the couple paid half a million dollars to get their daughters admitted into the University of Southern California. However, Lori Loughlin was set free from Dublin prison in December 2020 after spending 60 days behind bars for her role in her daughter’s college admission scheme. The lovebirds admitted paying a sum of $500,000 for their daughter’s admission into college (University of Southern California). The supposed scam admission fee was paid to William “Rick” Singer to get their daughters accepted into the University’s program. Luckily, the fraud scheme was busted.

Mossimo Giannulli – Statement by the Authority

The couples, as described by the authority are amongst the high-profile parents who involve themselves in this fraud scheme to get their children into college. Most of the time, their teenage kids are undeserving of the admission, but the parents still take the shorter route of getting them into these Colleges. They go the extra mile rigging their test results and bogus athletic credentials.

The Justice Department officially ordered the use of house arrest and community services to hasten the release of eligible inmates by the Bureau of Prisons. Priority of these releases is ordered to come from inmates from low or medium securities. However, many concerned citizens have shown concern about this order, and they claim the system does not give a fair chance on this law to people from certain races and epileptic financial background.
