Nick Cannon Celebrates The Cancellation Of Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk: “Toxic”

Even though Jada Pinkett Smith’s “Red Table Talk” cancellation was nothing personal, it didn’t stop Nick Cannon for rejoicing because of its closure. Actually, “Red Table Talk” was part of dozens of talk shows on Facebook Watch’s Series that were cancelled as a result of a larger cost-cutting initiative.

Following its cancellation, it was revealed that Jada would be shopping the series around to a new network. So, it may not even be gone for that long.

Nick Cannon – Blames Red Table Talk For Will Smith’s Infamous Scene At the Oscars

The father of twelve Nick Cannon wildly suggested on the Thursday, April 27, episode of his Amazon-hosted podcast, The Daily Cannon, that Jada’s famous Facebook Watch show prompted Will Smith’s rage at the Oscars. He probably got that from a meme that’s been floating around since the incident happened.

“If there was no Red Table Talk, then [Will Smith] wouldn’t have slapped the s*** out of Chris Rock,” Cannon said. Jada’s husband, Will Smith, shocked the world when he angrily marched onto the 94th Academy Awards’ stage and hit Chris Rock on the cheek.

He also warned the comedian, who made a joke about his wife’s shaved head, to keep his wife’s name out of his mouth.

Continuing on, Cannon said he believes the rage could have been inspired by the 2020 episode of Red Table Talk, where Jada sat down with Will Smith to talk about her “entanglement” with singer August Alsina.

“I don’t want to know all this s*** about y’all,” the TV host said, adding, “I just want to mind my own Black business. I don’t want to be up in everybody else’s kitchen. Keep that s*** to y’all selves.”

Nick Cannon’s  Baby Mama Tells Star To Quit Criticizing Jada’s Red Table Talk: “It Feels Human”

While some agreed with the talk show host, others didn’t. One of those people who didn’t think the show was as stupid as Cannon made it out to be was Abby De La Rosa, the mom to three of his kids.

She said: “It was an honest table. It feels human, like, they’re human. It feels relatable. They’re trash too, like the rest of us.”

Jada’s chat show, hosted with her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris and daughter Willow, comes to an end after five seasons, after drawing in over 11 million followers.
