Nick Cannon has become famous as a rapper, TV host, and comedian. But the 42-year-old Masked Singer host turns serious (well, sort of) on the topic of his children. And after expanding his family once again, Cannon recently reflected on his future as one of the nation’s most famous celeb fathers.
Find out what Nick said about having more children. And learn about his current flock of baby mamas and kids. Get all the details below.
Nick Cannon Reveals His #1 Priority
Host of shows like The Nick Cannon Show, Wild ‘n Out, America’s Got Talent, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, and The Masked Singer, Nick Cannon doesn’t seem to hesitate over his career. But when the 42-year-old debates parenthood, he becomes much less certain. And Nick hesitated on making a commitment to adding to his growing flock.
However, Cannon revealed in a recent interview that he feels “good” about his dozen offspring. Most recently, Nick and model Alyssa Scott looked forward to his 12th child. But his response to expanding his family stays vague. “I don’t know, man, I have no idea. [But] I think I’m good right now!” said Cannon via Yahoo News.
And after a year that saw Nick’s family go from seven to 11 children, Cannon made one fact clear. He double-downed in interviews in repeating that his children remain his “number one priority obviously.” “I wake up being a father thinking about my kids,” summed up Nick. “And everything else comes after that.”
Nick Cannon Considers Vow Of Celibacy
However, earlier this year, Nick made an unexpected announcement. It came as Cannon looked forward to welcoming his eighth child into the world. And the TV host announced that his therapist recommended that he take a vow of celibacy. But somehow, that recommendation didn’t turn into reality.
Most recently, Nick welcomed his first child with model Bre Tiesi. The couple named their son Legendary Love Cannon. And in September, Cannon and another baby mama, model Lanisha Cole, welcomed their daughter Onyx Ice Cole Cannon. Other recent arrivals include a daughter Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon with DJ and radio host Abby De La Rosa.
In addition, Rosa and Cannon co-parent twins Zillion and Zion. And songstress Mariah Carey co-parents her twins, 11-year-old Monroe and Moroccan, with Nick as well. Adding to the excitement at any blended family holidays Nick wants to try, the TV host and model Brittany Bell share three offspring: Golden, 5, Powerful Queen, 1, and Rise Messiah, 1 month. And while Scott and Cannon look forward to their new baby, the two shared a son. Baby Zen tragically passed away at 5 months old in December 2021 from a brain tumor.
