Nick Cannon – Rushed To Hospital
Fans worried for the Masked Singer host Nick Cannon as news spread about his health. The 42-year-old had enjoyed a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden. But that success turned into a medical emergency, reported Us magazine.
However, after his dash to the hospital, Cannon felt well enough to share a photo from the emergency room. And he confessed, “OK, so I guess I’m not Superman.” But the TV show host also revealed he felt reluctant to go to the hospital.
“I promised myself I would never be back at this place again,” added Nick in his caption. “But this is a great lesson to take care of YOU,” pointed out the father of what soon will be 12 children. And he noted, ” Or YOU won’t be able to take care of everyone else.”
Nick Cannon’s – Celebrity Friends Send Get-Well Wishes
However alone he felt in that emergency room, Cannon definitely doesn’t lack for friends and family! And his Instagram post about his health quickly got a flood of get-well wishes. In his social media post, Nick reassured his fans, friends, and family that he will get healthy soon.
“Don’t trip though,” wrote Cannon in his caption.” I don’t need any well wishes or prayers, just some solid rest and I will be back on the journey to becoming stronger than ever. It’s just pneumonia, nothing I can’t handle. Crazy thing is, last night we was just rocking a sold-out crowd at Madison Square Garden in front of thousands of fans, now I’m all alone in a tiny hospital room. Life is definitely a roller coaster!”
Among the celebrity friends responding were Marlon Wayans, Kristin Chenoweth, Heidi Klum and ASAP Rocky. For instance, Rocky wrote, “Sending love, recover soon brother 🦾.” But Nick’s diagnosis of pneumonia comes after years of suffering from lupus.
Cannon explained that he learned about his autoimmune disease after kidney failure and blood clots. “It’s a lot of stuff,” admitted the TV show host about his health problems. “But it’s all in order now. I feel blessed to be alive.”

Nick Cannon – Shares His Reaction To Lupus Diagnosis
However, Cannon admitted that he felt “super scary” when he first got diagnosed with lupus. “I knew nothing about it until I was diagnosed,” he admitted. “But to me, I’m healthier now than I’ve ever been before. When you hear the words ‘autoimmune disease’ or ‘lupus,’ it’s like, ‘Whoa, what is that?’ That’s how I felt, and that’s how my family and friends felt as well.”
But then Nick realized that he could manage his health with the right treatment and support system. And since first becoming a dad in 2011, Cannon keeps adding to his family. He shares twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey. And Nick later welcomed a son Golden, born in 2017; daughter Powerful, born in 2020, and son Rise, born in September, with Brittany Bell. Abby De La Rosa and Cannon welcomed twins Zillion and Zion in June 2021.
