Nicole Kidman Admits There Are Co-Stars She Looks Forward To Making Out With

Okay, not what we were expecting Nicole Kidman to say in a roundtable chat, much less at around the same time when a trailer which shows her making out with Hollywood hunk Zac Efron was released. But you know, Kidman loves her men, and I can just tell that they love her too.

Nicole Kidman -Opens Up About Her Experiences Shooting Steamy Scenes For Her Movies

Nicole Kidman just kissed and told The Hollywood Reporter in their latest version of the roundtable talk, featuring fellow actresses Jennifer Aniston, Naomi Watts, Sofía Vergara, Brie Larson, Jodie Foster and Anna Sawai.

During their chat, the interviewer asked the stars whether they could relate to Anne Hathaway’s revelation that she once kissed ten men in a “gross chemistry test” just to see who would better match with her character onscreen.

“Who here can relate, and what were your versions of it?” the interviewer said, referencing Hathaway’s latest revelation that she used to find such tests gross and unsettling.

“To be excited to make out with someone? I think maybe secretly I’ve been excited,” Kidman, 56, said with a laugh.

Kidman’s close friend Watts then chimed in, explaining her own version of the experience. “I was auditioning and I didn’t get the job, so clearly I did not do a good make-out. It was with a very well-known actor. It was mortifying because we didn’t hear a ‘cut,’ and it just kept going,” the 55-year-old recalled.

If you asked Kidman, chemistry auditions shouldn’t be the final determining factor over whether two stars can be a good couple onscreen. “You can not have chemistry [in the audition], and onscreen, it’s made,” she said. “…There’s a way you can shoot things. I think just relying on chemistry is lazy. There’s the writing. There’s the interaction. You can literally be directed through it.”

They then drifted to other topics, leaving us aching to know who exactly Kidman was “excited” to make out with. I wonder if Will Ferrell was one of them.

Anyhow, the latest in Kidman’s list of men she’s made out with onscreen is “Greatest Showman” star Zac Efron for their upcoming movie, “A Family Affair.”

The movie follows a mother (Nicole Kidman) who falls for her daughter’s celebrity boss (played by Zac Efron). Said daughter is played by Joey King.
