Hollywood news and updates tease that Olivia Rodrigo voiced her thoughts regarding her alleged controversy with Taylor Swift.
Olivia Rodrigo rose to fame when she released her debut single “Drivers License.” The song became a huge hit that it reached number one in both UK and US charts.
During the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, she bagged three trophies in the New Artist, Pop Solo Performance, and Pop Vocal Album categories.
Before she launched her music career, Rodrigo landed the role of Nini in Disney’s “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.”
Olivia Rodrigo – Throws A Shade At Taylor Swift?
Earlier this year, the popular singer released her lead single “Vampire” for her upcoming second studio album, “Guts.”
Since the song made its way to different music platforms, fans were speculating that Rodrigo threw a shade at Taylor Swift. During her latest interview, she broke her silence about the issue.
“How do I answer this? I mean, I never want to say who any of my songs are about. I’ve never done that before in my career and probably won’t. I think it’s better to not pigeonhole a song to being about this one thing,” the 20-year-old singer told The Guardian. “I was very surprised when people thought that,” she added.
Rodrigo and Swift previously left their fans excited when they were vocal about their love for each other’s music. However, speculations of their feud floated on the surface when the “All Too Well” singer invited Sabrina Carpenter to open for her in The Eras Tour.
On the other hand, Carpenter was believed to be the “blonde girl” Rodrigo referred to in her song “Drivers License.” Moreover, unlike other celebrities, the “Happier” singer was not spotted at any of The Eras Tour concerts.

In other news, Rodrigo revealed her struggles in maintaining that “perfect” persona after many years in the industry.
The popular singer stated that she often experienced negative emotions and constantly found herself having difficulty expressing them.
“I’ve always felt like you can never admit it, be so grateful all the time, so many people want that position, and that causes a lot of repressed feelings. I’ve always struggled with wanting to be this perfect American girl and the reality of not feeling like that all the time,” she uttered.
