After her breakup with Harry Styles, Olivia Wilde hoped that the entertainment world’s award season would provide her with some good news. But alas. Wilde just got snubbed for the film that she directed. And Don’t Worry Darling, featuring Florence Pugh and Harry Styles, got overlooked in the nominations for the upcoming 80th Annual Golden Globes, reported Geo TV.
Golden Globes nominations predictions included Don’t Worry Darling. However, the film directed by Olivia may have gotten overlooked amid all the controversy. For instance, when Don’t Worry Darling debuted at the Venice Film Festival, rumors about the co-stars and director stole the spotlight.
The Golden Globes award ceremony will take place on January 10. Held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, the award competition often serves as a way to predict future award show winners. And that means Olivia will want to downsize her dreams of winning for Don’t Worry Darling.

Don’t Worry Darling Turned Into Off-Set Drama
Wilde’s movie features Styles and Pugh as a married couple. Set in a utopia 1950s desert community, Don’t Worry Darling did do well at the box office. And it took in $19.2 million in the first week.
However, controversies and rumors overshadowed the movie itself. For instance, Pugh snubbed Wilde on the red carpet. And Florence reportedly felt upset over Olivia taking her romance with Harry public. Wilde and Styles began their relationship during filming in Los Angeles.
However, prior to Harry romancing Olivia, he enjoyed his relationship with Florence, shared an insider. “Harry and Florence had chemistry from the off, which translated incredibly well on-screen,” revealed the source. “One night they had a bit of a snog, all very light-hearted and a bit of fun, and that was that.”

However, although the fun ended there, the rumors had only just begun. Because production staff started to gossip about the two costars’ fling, shared the insider. “It was being gossiped about by a couple of members of production, otherwise no one would have known.”
At the time, Harry was single. And Florence had recently split from Zach Braff. As a result, the insider pointed out, “No cheating or misbehavior from anyone” occurred. “However, later on, Harry and Olivia started spending more time together — sneaking off for coffees, hanging out in one another’s trailers, and sharing small, routine intimacies.”
After dating for almost two years, Olivia and Harry split. But an insider shared that the two split on good terms. “There is no bad blood between them. Harry didn’t dump Olivia or vice versa,” explained the source.
