One Tree Hill Actor Shares Unexpected Divorce News

If a One Tree Hill star and Secret Life Of The American Teenager star can’t make it work, is there hope for any of us?  If you’re a 2000’s nostalgia groupie, this break-up could be a tough pill to swallow. 

After over a decade, OTH fan fave Tyler Hilton is officially back on the market and single and ready to mingle.  Here’s what Hilton had to say about his split on Instagram.  

If you were a One Tree Hill fan, you will remember Tyler Hilton as Chris Keller on the hit CW/WB series.  Hilton appeared on the show for seasons 2-4, then he returned again as Keller in 2009.  His character had a complicated relationship with fan faves Peyton Sawyer (Hilarie Burton) and Hayley James (Bethany Joy Lenz).

In 2006, Tyler Hilton joined the cast of Charlie Bartlett and co-starred alongside Megan Park.  Park was wildly popular during that time period because of the hit show that she appeared in, The Secret Life Of The American Teenager. 

Park and Hilton hit it off, and were together for several years.  In 2015, the couple tied the knot and said “I Do.”  They went on to have two children together, Winnie and Benny.

The One Tree Hill actor isn’t super exciting to follow on social media, but he broke precedent last week and announced that he and his wife had split.

Hilton wrote on Instagram, “A Life Update: I’ve never been super comfortable sharing personal information about our family life, but I’ve seen enough speculation online that I thought warranted clarity. 

Some time ago, Megan and I decided to end our marriage. We continue to make the kids and co-parenting the priority. Thanks for continuing to respect our privacy.”

So far Megan hasn’t spoken out about the divorce, but Hilton’s One Tree Hill co-stars have taken to social media to share their support and make it clear they are Team Tyler.
