Pamela Anderson Says Hulu’s Mini-Series Pam & Tommy Left Her Feeling Violated

Let’s just say that she certainly didn’t waste any of her time watching this one. Hollywood actress Pamela Anderson says that she couldn’t help but feel violated by the makers of the Hulu mini-series Pam & Tommy. She says that she doesn’t like the fact that the series is based on her infamous sex tape with her ex-husband, Tommy Lee. Here’s what you need to know.

For those who haven’t watched it yet, Pam & Tommy chronicles the whirlwind romance that Pamela had with the Motley Crue drummer. Their sex tape was stolen from their home and leaked on the internet back in 1997.

The series was nominated for several Emmy and Golden Globe Awards. But if Pamela would have had her way, she would have made sure that the series wouldn’t have been made to begin with.

She said that the show’s producers never got in touch with her. She also doesn’t blame actress Lily James for participating in the series, either.

She said, “I heard she’d been nominated for an Emmy, but maybe that was a joke. It’s not her fault; it’s a job. But whoever created it – well, it just feels like something else stolen.”

Meanwhile, in her new book, Love, Pamela, the screen icon says that her marriage to the Motley Crue drummer was “the hardest, lowest, most difficult point of my life.” As many fans know, the couple got married back in 1995 after only knowing one another for four days. They went on to welcome their two sons, Brandon and Dylan, together. She says that her marriage to Tommy was the only time that she truly felt as though she was in love.

Pamela says that her “hell” began when Tommy Lee was arrested for spousal abuse in 1998. He ended up spending six months in jail. Pamela says that Tommy was kicking her back while she held their son Dylan.

She said, “I still couldn’t believe that the person I loved the most was capable of what had happened that night. We were both devastated, but I had to protect my babies.”
