Paris Hilton Discusses The Success Of Her Memoir And Life As A New Mother

This past few years have been a time of great change and growth for Paris Hilton, from tying the knot with Carter Reum, to her candid documentary detailing her troubled youth, to a memoir that sheds further light on her youth, and of course, welcoming baby boy Phoenix. Let’s just say that Paris is finally in that stage of her life where she is surrounded by love and light, and she’s loving it.

The star recently chatted with E! about how she’s enjoying success and family life.

Paris Hilton On Writing “Paris: A Memoir” And Finding True Love

“I feel so incredibly proud,” she said of her memoir hitting the Sunday Times bestseller. When asked whether she was surprised that “Paris: the Memoir” made it into the list – it’s her second book to do so – the star revealed that she wasn’t because the fan reaction had been so impressive that she knew it would.

She also explained the reason she followed up her documentary with a memoir, saying that she didn’t get to tell her story as well as she would have liked and it ultimately left fans confused and wanting to know more.

With the level of transparency that Paris displayed in the book, it’s easy to imagine her feeling like she’s reliving those moments as she worked on it. For her, recalling some parts of her life was “extremely difficult,” especially those one she’s never even shared with anyone before. At the end of the day, she admitted that, while working on the book might have been hard, releasing it into the world was “cathartic and healing.”

She further teased fans with the news that there’ll be “lots more to come” as a result of her living a very full life. I’m sure fans would particularly want to know about the reality star’s life as a working mother.

She also touched on marrying the love of her life Carter Reum – the man who brought the walls she built around herself crashing down – saying that he’s one “of those kindest” people with a big heart and that was one of the reasons she grew attracted to him. She also praised him for the way he didn’t want to distance himself from her when he found out about her past relationships, but rather he lifted her up and supported her in every way.
