Paula Patton’s Fried Chicken Recipe Sprouts A Fuss – Here’s Her Response

The recipe currently making headlines is Paula Patton’s Fried Chicken Recipe.

Paula took to Instagram in March to upload a video of her, frying chicken for her son Julian, using her mom’s recipe. Unfortunately, the video didn’t sit well with the audience, the majority aren’t in support of her frying method and didn’t mince words in letting her know as most of them took the video to Twitter where it went viral.

The “Mission Impossible” actress, seeing the reaction her video garnered, took to her Instagram on April 5 to express her mind. She said It’s all good because everybody’s got their way of making things.

Paula said, “And I’ll take suggestions, I’ll make a new kind of fried chicken, but I’m gonna always make my mom’s chicken the way she did it. We put the seasoning in the oil and all that. It’s just the way we do it.” She added that “It might look crazy, but it is the way we do it. My mom taught me, it was my mom’s recipe,”

The Method Paula Patton Used In Frying Her Chicken

In the clip of the fried chicken, Paula Patton demonstrated her 4-step process. She first cleaned up the chicken and coated it with flour. Then, she heated some Avocado oil and put the chicken in it right away. Once the chicken was in the pan being fried, Paula added the seasoning including salt, pepper, and paprika. She then flipped the chicken over and sprinkled the seasoning on the other side as well.

This method sparked noise on Twitter as people after watching the video had a thing or two to say about her method, while some complained about the seasoning which was added after the chicken was already frying on the fire, some saw absolutely nothing wrong with Paula’s recipe

Another said, “Chicken cost too much for Paula Patton to be out here doing what she doing.”

A concerned user had to tweet “Paula please go take a chicken frying class cos that’s just ridiculous,” commented one concerned viewer, while another noted, “Paula Patton needs to start off with something easier like toasting bagels.”

I saw Paula Patton season grease this afternoon… Stop the world, I wanna get off,” journalist Dart Adams wrote. Meanwhile, one naysayer joked, “Paula Patton’s chicken is like eating dry cap’n crunch and then drinking milk.”

While some were angered by the clip, some saw it as a huge fried-up prank, one of them said “I refuse to believe that Paula Patton vid was anything but an April Fool’s Day gag because ain’t no way,” the user wrote. “I’d believe she was a comedy mastermind before I believe somebody is out here seasoning their fried chicken grease.”
