Pete Davidson And New Gal Pal Get In Beverly Hills Car Crash
Saturday Night Live alum Pete Davidson and new girlfriend Chase Sui recently enjoyed themselves in Hawaii. But the couple followed their fun in the sun with a scary experience. And as Pete drove through Beverly Hills, California, he crashed into a home, according to TMZ.
Law enforcement officials revealed that Davidson had been driving fast just before he lost control. And the SNL alum then hopped the curb, destroyed a fire hydrant, and ended up hitting a house. As a result of the damage to the fire hydrant, fire fighters had to try to stop the waterworks in Beverly Hills.
Police described Davidson as driving his Mercedes-Benz “at a high rate of speed” at 11 p.m. just prior to jumping the curb in Beverly Hills. And after losing control, Pete reportedly went into a skid all the way across a house’s front lawn before hitting the corner of the home. However, despite that dramatic accident, no one got hurt, according to Page Six. But the siding on a corner of the house got broken and pushed inside.
Pete Davidson Damages Beverly Hills Property
And Beverly Hills police also confirmed that Davidson had been driving the car. They noted that city property in the form of the fire hydrant got damaged. As a result, police have begun an investigation into the car crash and the resulting damage.
However, officials told TMZ that at least for now, they believe that neither drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. And no arrests were made at the time of the crash. In addition, neither Pete nor Chase received citations. It also remains unknown what the Beverly Hills homeowners had to say about discovering the SNL alum had crashed into their home.
Pete, 29, and Wonders, 26, first met when they worked together on the 2022 comedy-horror movie, Bodies Bodies Bodies. And they started out as a platonic friends. However, after Pete ended his romance with Emily Ratajkowski in December 2022, his feelings toward Wonders reportedly changed.
Most recently, Pete and Wonders visited Hawaii. That vacation occurred after insiders shared that the two had gone from platonic pals to a romance. And one source shared that the two have begun “getting serious. They’ve been friends a long time,” pointed out the insider. “And this romance grew out of friendship.”
