Pete Davidson has been quiet all along, Kanye has been the one cyberbullying Pete, yet Pete chose to remain silent, due to his silence, no one foresaw that joke about Kanye West, ever. Well, let’s just say Pete is finally speaking up about the feud in form of a joke.
Pete Davidson in his first stand-up comedy set in three years made a few Kanye West observations during his stint on Thursday at the Netflix Is A Joke: The Festival at the Hollywood Bowl.
During mutual friend Dave Chappelle’s headlining show at the Hollywood Bowl on April 28, Pete performed as a guest comic. He joked onstage that Kanye told him that he (Pete) has AIDS, Pete added that he was momentarily convinced it was true because the rapper “is a genius.”
He also spoke about West’s highly public and controversial harassment of his girlfriend Kim Kardashian, one incident included Kanye sending Kim a truck full of roses. Pete likened the situation to the 1993 Robin Williams film Mrs. Doubtfire, saying: “Am I the only one who secretly hopes Kanye will go full Mrs. Doubtfire?”
Pete Davidson – How The Feud Began
Pete Davidson became a receiver of harassments from his girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband Kanye “Ye” West, ever since he began dating Kim. Kanye has gone from harassing Pete, calling him names like “Skete,” urging his fans to call Pete names anywhere they see him, to even making a music video for his song, “Eazy,” which showed him kidnapping and burying a claymation figure that resembled Pete Davidson.
At one point, Pete texted Kanye in a bid to talk things over, but also sent a selfie-and said he was “in bed with your wife.” (Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021.)
Pete Davidson – What The Texts Were About
Sometime in March, Pete’s friend Dave Sirus posted on Instagram, screenshots of alleged text messages between Pete and Kanye.
The post, which has since been deleted, was captioned: “*A message from Pete*.”
In the first message, which allegedly came from Pete, he wrote: “Yo, it’s Skete. Can you please take a second and calm down. It’s 8am and it don’t gotta be like this. Kim is literally the best mother I’ve ever met. What she does for those kids is amazing and you are so f**king lucky that she’s your kids mom. I’ve decided I’m not gonna let you trust us this way anymore and I’m done being quiet. Grow the f**k up.”
To that, Kanye replied “Oh you using profanity. Where are you right now?”
To which Pete wrote “In bed with your wife”, alongside a selfie of himself in bed.”
Kanye: “Happy to see you’re out of the hospital and rehab.”
Pete: “Same here. It’s wonders what those places do when you go get help. You should try it. I’m in LA for the day if you wanna stop being a little internet b**ch boy and talk. You don’t scare me, bro. Your actions are so p**sy and embarrassing. It’s so sad to watch you ruin ur legacy on the daily.”
Kanye: “You’re more than welcome to come to Sunday Service.”
