According to the Independent, the Change.org petition has been making the rounds and gathering steam. It calls for the removal of the embattled Yeezy mogul from headlining at next month’s festival and has already reached 37,719 signatures at the time of this writing. Kanye West – Suspended From Instagram For Using Racial Slur
The petition was launched on March 17 by a user called Caramello Marie after West got suspended from Instagram for attacking The Daily Show host Trevor Noah with a racial slur. The petition accuses the music producer of “harassing and manipulating” Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson, and others for over a year.
The plea continues, saying that “no one wants to stand up to him” and, when they do, they too come under fire from the rapper. Then it explains that the film producer has most recently taken to “threatening actual bodily harm” to others. Then the petition concludes by emphasizing that Coachella and other brands that work with the performer, should be ashamed of themselves for giving him a platform.

Kanye West – The Trouble With Ye
Kanye has accused his ex-wife Kim Kardashian of keeping him from his children, and for allowing his eight-year-old daughter, North, to use TikTok. The troublesome performer also sparked a heap of criticism when he produced the music video for the song Eazy.
The overtly violent and dark music video depicted the kidnap and murder of a Claymation depiction of Pete Davidson. West called it art and rejected criticism that it was calling for violence against his nemesis.
In addition to West, Harry Styles and Billie Eilish are expected to headline at the festival. Coachella will be taking place from 15 to 17 April and 22 to 24 April in Indio, California.

Kanye West – Critics Sound Off
The comments section of the petition is replete with comments from many who share the sentiments contained within the plea. One signer wrote, “Kanye is a narcissistic egotistical bully who thinks his money and celebrity give him a free pass to abuse, threaten, shame and defame others. Why he has been allowed to get away with this appalling behaviour for so long is a joke.”
Yet another fan lent their support for the petition, saying, “Trevor Noah said it best “The most powerful, richest woman in America can’t even get this man to stop harassing her” that says a lot about the amount of celebrity he has and how it leads to zero accountability.”
