Pink Reacts To Christina Aguilera Feud Rumors

Pink – Threw Shade At Christina Aguilera?

Did she or didn’t she? That’s the question posed to Pink about the latest installment of her lengthy feud with Christina Aguilera. And Pink turned to Twitter to address social media critics who claimed she threw shade at Aguilera over the creation of the music video for Lady Marmalade, reported E News.

“Y’all are nuts,” tweeted Pink. “Xtina had s–t to do with who was on that song.” But the allegations that Pink threw shade at Christina stem from a recent interview about music videos.

In the interview, Pink put Lady Marmalade last on a list of her “most iconic music videos.” And the singer explained why it rated last on a list of 12. “It wasn’t very fun to make. I’m all about fun and it was like, a lot of fuss, and there were some personalities.”

Pink – Slams Claims She Reignited Aguilera Feud

However, the rumors that Pink reignited her feud with Christina related to what she shared about the collaborators on the song with her and Aguilera. And Pink praised in the interview, “[Lil] Kim and Mýa were nice.” But as she then announced on Twitter, “If you don’t know by now- I’m not ‘shading’ someone by telling it over and over and over what actually happened.”

And for fans who tried to stir the pot, Pink added, “I’m zero percent interested in your f–king drama. If you haven’t noticed- I’m a little busy selling. And by selling- I mean tickets and albums and bake sales and s–t. Also- I kissed xtinas mouth. I don’t need to kiss her a*s.”

The reference to Pink kissing Christina stems from Aguilera’s appearance several years ago on Andy Cohen’s talk show Watch What Happens Live. The songstress recalled playing Spin The Bottle with Pink at a club. And she admitted, “I was excited about a kiss. I was like, oh, kissing, like, all’s good, maybe no, you know, whatever.”

But Christina then recalled that Pink “put her hand up like this [holds her hand over her mouth]. I was like, oh, that’s what we’re doing? Alright. She don’t wanna get ‘Dirrty.'” Pink later claimed that Christina kissed her at a birthday party. And she added, “That was a fun party.”

Christina Aguilera And Pink – Feud Began 20 Years Ago

But beyond the kissing parties, Pink and Christina have dished on their feud. It began more than two decades ago in recording Lady Marmalade. And Pink once recalled a record executive saying, “What’s the high part? What’s the most singing part? Christina’s going to take that part.”

As a result, Pink “stood up, and I said ‘Hi. How are you? So nice of you to introduce yourself. I’m Pink. She will not be taking that part. I think that’s what the f–king meeting’s about.'”

However, as the years passed, the two came together. And they even teamed up for The Voice TV show. As Pink prepared to serve as advisor to Christina’s team, they two “hugged it out,” recalled Pink. “We made up on The Voice,” said the singer. “Because I hadn’t seen her in years and years and years and we became moms. We grew up and we hugged it out.”
