Ree Drummond – Sets the Record Straight On Using Weight Loss Medications
Ree Drummond only has one relationship with Ozempic; she won’t judge anyone that uses it.
As rumors of using weight loss medications mounted, the star decided to update her 2021 blog post, where she shares what she does and doesn’t do to lose weight.
“I did not take Ozempic, Wegovy, or similar medications,” she shared.

For the unintiated, Ozempic and Wegovy are FDA-approved prescription medications for people with type 2 diabetes and obesity.
They work by making you fill full so that you’re not craving food as often as you normally do. These days, they’ve morphed into Hollywood’s shiny go-to for weight loss.
“I support anyone who has success using the above medications. I know they have been an absolute godsend for so many people; I have friends who’ve experienced incredible results,” she said, revealing that she didn’t know about the drugs when she embarked on her weight loss journey in 2021.
“I simply didn’t know those drugs existed then, so I dove in using all the methods below,” she said, before referencing her former entries of dieting, practicing better fitness and wellness habits.

“Today, even though I have gained a few pounds up and down, I still have not chosen that option,” she said of the popular weight loss injections. “But you’ll never hear a second of judgment from me about people who choose that direction!”
Additionally, she insisted that she hasn’t taken any medications in relation to losing weight. The problem is that she, and other celebrities like her, have been used in fake advertisements as part of a “celebrity endorsement fraud scheme.”
So yeah, we can’t always trust what we see on the internet. In fact, we can barely trust anything we see on the internet.
