Priscilla Presley And Riley Keough Feud Update

Lisa Marie Presley died tragically on January 12 at age 54 a little while after being rushed to the hospital. Two days prior to her death, she attended the Golden Globe Awards, where Austin Butler took home the award for best actor for his role in the Elvis Presley biopic “Elvis.”

Following her death, there’s been rumors that her mother and daughter have been fighting over control of her trust. However, Priscilla Presley’s son says they’re doing fine.

Navarone Garibaldi Garcia Weighs In On the Feud Reportedly Happening Between Priscilla Presley and Riley Keough

Fighting for property so close to the death of a loved one is not good conduct, and yet it wasn’t days after Lisa Marie’s death that news emerged that a legal battle could ignite to see who should be in charge of the trust.

The reason for this quarrel was that Priscilla Presley, although formerly listed as a Trustee, was later removed making Riley Keough the sole trustee of Lisa’s estate, which includes the famous Graceland estate and a 15 percent stake in Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE). And let’s not forget the millions of dollars in life insurance money.

However, things may not be so frosty between the pair as the media is portraying it to be. Navarone Garibaldi Garcia just confirmed it!

When asked by a commenter on his Instagram Live earlier this week whether the grandmother-granddaughter pair are on speaking terms, Navarone was reported to have said, “Yes, they are fine.” The US reported: “No feud,” he continued. “We did go to dinner, it went great, it’s all good.”

This goes against what a close Riley source previously said about tensions existing between the two. The source said: “Priscilla doesn’t want Riley solely in charge, because then she has no say. Meanwhile, Riley doesn’t want Priscilla to butt in.”

The family insider added: “It’s a very sad situation. Riley is shocked Priscilla is contesting the amendment.”
